A Sub-Society of the Science Council, intended for Computer Science students. The aim of this society is to provide a heightened academic and social experience to the Computer Science community of UOIT. We will be hosting weekly meetings (time TBD), as well as many events throughout the year.
The Forensic Science Society is a sub-society of the Science Council. It hopes to provide all students interested in the field of Forensic Science the opportunity to become actively involved in campus life, plan and participate in events catered to forensic science and allow students the chance to get to know other students interested in the field. Over the years, the topic of forensic science has become an increasingly popular subject and this sub-society allows students with common interests to come together, connect and help make the university experience more enjoyable.
The UOIT Physics Society is a student run organization which strives to unite all students at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology who are interested in physics. Our goal is to give students an opportunity to connect with a community of students sharing similar interests and to provide interesting and fun social opportunities. Additionally, we serve as a link between the UOIT Physics Faculty and physics students, facilitating communication and out-of-class interaction between both parties.
